Fluffy pancakes are a delicacy one cant ignore, but sometimes our pancakes turn out flat and thin. This isn’t something we pay much attention to but most people prefer the fluffy ones to the thin pancakes.

 List of Ingredients

Refrigerated
1 large Egg
Baking & Spices
1 cup All-purpose flour
2 tsp Baking powder
1 pinch Salt
2 tbsp. Sugar

Oils  

2 tbsp Butter or vegetable oil

Dairy
1 cup Milk
With these 6 ingredients, you will get a fluffy texture. These pancakes are best for easy breakfast.

How to make fluffy pancakes step by step?

How to make pancakes in just a few easy steps:

  • First, you mix all the dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, salt, sugar).
  •  Next mix the wet ingredients (egg, oil/butter, milk)  in a different bowl.
  • Add the dry ingredients to the wet ones and mix (not too thoroughly) .
  •  Let it sit for one minute to two.  This allows the activation of the baking powder to make your pancakes fluffy.
  • Heat oil or butter in a pan and once hot, add a few tablespoons of the batter, making sure they don’t spread out to the outside.
  • Leave in pan for a minute, until fluffy. Flip, and cook for an additional minute.

This should take less than 6 minutes.

What to serve with my pancakes?

Maple syrup + butter! You can add maple syrup to your pancakes, always. Fluffy pancakes absorb the maple syrup, bringing a sweet touch. You can consider adding a little bit of butter too. It will melt over the warm pancakes and add an additional flavor.
