Award-winning Ghanaian Gospel musician, Celestine Donkor has revealed that her music is currently doing well on Kenyan streaming platforms than in Ghana.
Speaking in an interview on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz, Celestine Donkor revealed that there are some measure Ghanaian musicians need to take in order to break global boundaries and have their music appreciated by other people in other countries.
This was when she was asked if she is against the fracas that Ghanaian gospel musicians do not get shows from other countries.
Well, according to Celestina Donkor, when the music is loved, streamed and appreciated by other countries, the connections becomes automatic.
In other news, Ghanaian Afrobeat singer, Kelvynboy has finally linked up with the Nigerian Afrobeat maestro, Wizkid.
This is at the back of numerous comments passed by music lovers both in Ghana and Nigeria that Kelvynboy’s ovals was inspired by Wizkid because they sound alike.
Well, since Wizkid was already in the music scene before Kelvynboy came, it was alleged that he maybe copied Wizkid’s voice since he is one old he biggest stars in Africa.
Kelvynboy on numerous occasions has denied these claims, saying he sounds nothing like the Nigerian singer, hence fans need to desist from making such comparison.
