The High Court criminal division 1, has rejected the appeal filed by lawyers of actress, Rosemond Brown who is popularly known as Akuapem poloo.
Sometime in June 2020, she posted an obscene material on social media. She was naked in a picture with her son. According to the law, it violated the dignity and integrity of her son and she was handed a 90 day jail term by an Accra Circuit Court.
Her lawyers appealed the judgement, and she was granted a bail of 80,000 ghs after spending some time in cells.
On Wednesday December 1, the court found the appeal without merit and has ordered that she continues her 90 day imprisonment.
