Ghana Election 2020: Deputy Information Minister Pius Hadzide, has stated that the idea propounded by NDC Flagbearer John Mahama that he started Free SHS is an insult to the intelligence of Ghanaians.
Pius Hadzide has expressed his worries about Mahama’s lies on the introduction of Free SHS when speaking on Accra-based Starr FM on Thursday 26th November 2020.
According to him, “This idea that free SHS was started under John Mahama is an insult to the intelligence of Ghanaians.” He said.
In a tweet by Starr FM, Mr. Pius Hadzide was quoted;
Again, the Deputy Information Minister added that it is a great lie for former President John Dramani Mahama to say he paid a subvention and that qualifies him to claim the flagship Free SHS policy as he is the initiator.
He said “John Mahama told a blatant lie and must be called out. If he paid subventions, he can’t claim that is free SHS.”
He then called on Ghanaians to forget NDC and Mahama and vote massively for NPP and Akufo-Addo come December 7 polls.
