Menstruation can be quite a discomfort to many teens and adults. We normally try to find ways to ease the pain and other times we just lay or sit at one place.

  • Drink a lot of water. Yes drinking a lot of water is important because it lightens your your period in other for it to flow with less pain.
  • Take a hot bath. Hot baths helps melt any clogged blood clots that is preventing your period from flowing freely.

  • Take dark chocolate. Chocolate is an essential during your period it contains a lot to help with your mood and feeling. Taking a bar of dark chocolate is healthier and way better than sweets and cookies when on your period.
  • Carry a period kit. this is very important because anything can happen and having a kit can save you a lot of trouble. it should contain (tampon, pad, perfume, painkiller and some healthy snacks).
  • Change your pad every 6 to 7 hours. this is very essential, changing your sanitary pads from time to time helps keep you clean and prevents you from getting infections that would make you uncomfortable.
  • Lastly, get a lot of sleep.
