Two suspected incidents of rape and homicide of different ladies in one month at Kubease within the Ejisu Municipality of the Ashanti region have left residents in fear and rage.
Within the second and more recent of the acts, 24-year old trader, Abena Nintiwaa, was found lifeless and half-naked in her bedroom on Monday morning.
Her mysterious demise comes after another lady was allegedly raped in her bedroom by persons who’re yet to be identified.
The deaths have put fear in the neighborhood as ladies, especially say they’re scared to go about their regular duties at night.
Abena’s body was found when co-tenants said they became curious about her unusual failure to take her turn to sweep the compound in the morning.
Upon checking her room, they discovered Abena’s lifeless body on her bed.
