The Presidential Candidate for the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) John Dramani Mahama has stated the ruling New Patriotic Party has taken Ghanaians for granted, most especially the Ashanti’s.
According to him, the Akufo-Addo led NPP government has not established any significant project in the Ashanti Region.
“He (Akufo Addo) should show us just one project in the Ashanti Region after four years. In English, it is said they have taken you (Asantes) for granted even if we don’t do anything for them they (Asantes) will still vote for us. Today the world is changing; it is no more the same situation.
Meanwhile, John Mahama has urged Ghanaians to reject the NPP with 16 days to the general elections.
