The English top division has confirmed that the new Premier League season is set to begin in September, 2020. This means there will be seven weeks break only after the current season ends.
This has been necessitated by the unusual break caused by the coronavirus.
The Open Day will probably be on either August 22 or 29. The last of the round of 38, which is the final round of matches, will take place on May 23, 2021.
Manchester United, Man City, Chelsea and Wolves will consequently have a shorter break if the make it all the way to the finals in Europe.
