Some parts of Greater Accra and Region precisely, Dzorwulu,Lapaz,Weija,Achimota,Gbawe,Madina Mccarthy Hill, Tema and Kasoa respectively, have been hit by an earth tremor which occurred between of 11pm and 12am this dawn.
The reason for the earthquake hasn’t been confirmed by the Ghana Seismic Center under the Ghana Geological Survey Authority.
An earth tremor is an involuntary quivering movement of the surface of the Earth resulting from a sudden release of energy in the Earth’ s lithosphere. They are strong enough to be felt by people.
