Father of Billionaire Microsoft founder, William Henry Gates II is popularly known as Bill Gates Snr has passed away.
He passed away in his home on Tuesday, September 15 2020 with his family by his side.
The cause of death not known but Mr. Gates announced his death on Social Media and wrote an emotional tribute to honor him.
He praised his 94-year-old father on his blog.gatesnotes.com in a lengthy article saying his health was declining for a while.
He described his father as the real Bill Gates and acknowledged the crucial roles he played in his and his sisters’ lives whilst growing up. According to him, he wouldn’t have made it if not for his dad stating he will miss him always.
In the meantime, condolences are coming in for the departed.
