Multi Award-winning Ghanaian songwriter and afrobeats, afropop singer, Wendy Addo, known on stage as Wendy Shay, who is a signee of Ruff Town Recordz and also the brand ambassador for Youth Employment Agency in Ghana has fired back at her co signee, Fantana, who called her a local champion in a recent interview.
In a recent interview, Fantana who has been throwing counter attacks at Wendy Shay for sometime now branded her co signee a local champion because she had not won any international awards.
The sensational singer, who has recently been enstooled as the Ahemba Hemaa of Gomoa Afransi, a town close to Swedru in the Central Region of Ghana, with the stool name Queen Ewurabena Ofosuhemaa Shay 1 replied her opponent in an Instagram post asking her if she knew the amount she was paid for her recent Ambassadorial deal. She also asked her to create content and not news.
She wrote;” Some artistes can create news but can’t create hit songs. Ask how much Betplanet paid me….. Mit große Zähne macht man keine Hit songs Ich mach Kohle Und scheiß auf euch alle.”
Which is translated as “You don’t make hit songs with big teeth. I make charcoal and shit on all of you.”
However, it looks like this beef isn’t ending now since Fanta has sent another reply.
