Two new judges, Professor Henrietta Joy Abena Nyarko Mensa-Bonsu, JSC, FGA a Supreme Court Judge of the Republic of Ghana, who was nominatted by president Nana-Akufo-Addo, and is the 5th female member of the Court, and Justice Issifu Omoro Tanko Amadu also a Supreme Court judge of the Republic of Ghana who was appointed the Justice of the High Court between 2008 and 2012 and became an Appeal court judge from 2012, nominated by the president Nana Akufo-Addo as the first Muslim to serve on Ghana’s Supreme Court, have joined the existing 7 member panel of the supreme court to hear the petition filed by John Mahama.
They joined the panel on today, Thursday, 28th January, 2021.
