A Twitter user with the account name @Opresii has said that there are only two musicians in Ghana who stand a chance of winning Grammy awards for Ghana.
According to Opresii, it is time for the two musicians to stop being too local and invest in their craft by featuring top international acts just as Nigerian musicians are doing.
He said that Ghana can learn from Nigeria by expanding its boundaries to feature US musicians and UK musicians.
He further said that the dancehall musician and the rapper are the only two musicians who might get the chance to win a Grammy award for Ghana but they are too stingy to invest in their music.
He wrote; Sarkodie and Stonebwoy should stop being too local and invest to feature more of these US and UK acts like Naija acts have been doing to expand their boundaries… They’re the only 2 GH artists who have a bigger chance of winning the Grammy but they’re being too Stingy to invest.
