The award-winning actress made this statement on her verified social media handle on the popular social media platform, Twitter.
According to her, the main reason why Ghanaians are resisting the E-Levy bill is that the leaders are not trustworthy considering how monies are being spent anyhow.
The post she made reads;
“If our leaders were trustworthy, and the #Elevy was the ONLY way to rescue our economy, it wouldn’t have been met with so much resistance.
Sadly it’s going to be a little hard to convince people to support a system that they’ve watched so many take advantage of.”
