The Ghana Police Service says it is on a manhunt for a middle-aged man who allegedly raped a 70-year-old woman at Dzaman near Gbawe in the Greater Accra Region.
The Greater Accra Division of Ghana Police Service is on a manhunt for a young man believed to be in the middle age for allegedly raping a 70-year-old Stroke patient at Dzaman Near Gbawe.
According to the report, one Achikolo forcibly entered Mad Rose Odikro’s room on Sunday, October 4, 2020, took advantage of her condition, and assaulted her sexually.
Narrating her story, Madam Odikro said the suspect waited till she was alone and attacked her.
“I could not shout because of my condition and he raped me,” She said. She continued that the suspect manages to escape from the scene when she managed to raise an alarm.
The Assemblywoman of the area Madam Augustina Aseidu confirmed the incident and reported it to the police.
The victims’ condition is stable now after receiving medical care
