News release via tweet from the Ghana Police Service signed by the director of public affairs, SP Sheila Kessie Abayie-Buckman, indicates the immediate dispatch of homicide experts from the National Police headquarters to the Savannah region.

This action is in connection with the cruel murder of a 90 year old woman, Madam Akua Denteh. She was beaten to death after she was accused of being a witch by a priestess at Kafaba in the Savannah region.
The press release (below) indicated, also, that the IGP announces a cash reward of 2000 cedis for anyone who has information leading to the arrest of the suspects. The names of the perpetrators, as they are coming known, are started below.
