Dancehall artiste from Jamaica, Beenie Man has spoken on his vibe with Ghanaian Reggae and dancehall icon, Stonebwoy.
In an interview with Abeiku Santana, on Accra-based Okay FM Beenie Man stated that Stonebwoy loves the dancehall genre so much that he knows their language.
Anthony Moses Davis which is the real name of Beenie Man, stated that he’s known Stonebwoy since he was 17 years and even thought he’s a Jamaican until he spoke Ewe which is his native language .
According to him, he thought Stonebwoy was a Jamaican who was trapped in Ghana until he heard him speaking the local language adding that he’s one of the few dancehall musicians who knows everything about the genre.
Beenie Man stated that he thinks Stonebwoy can be a maestro in the dancehall genre ,because of his passion and dedication to their native language and originators of dancehall.
