Ghanaian musician and songwriter Akwaboah responds to charges that he is an underestimated artist because his music isn’t “loud” and “blaring.”

Akwaboah on Tv3 New Day told Cookie Tee that despite the fact that being “loud” in the industry can boost one’s fan base, he has never been undervalued. He doesn’t have the same ‘loud’ personality as other musicians, but he’s capable of holding his own.

He went on to say that although though he doesn’t have a “big” personality, all of his planned gigs sold out well ahead of time, and that thousands of people come to see him perform.

Akwaboah is underappreciated. I’m everywhere, yet I don’t make a lot of noise. Being loud might help you gain popularity and numbers. So, after being obnoxious, what’s next? My performances are always completely sold out. “I’m sure some of my followers don’t use social media, but they enjoy my music,” he explained.
