The government of Ghana has placed a separate travel ban on travelers moving to and from Israel, South Korea, and Malta with immediate effect
In a press statement released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs indicated that the ban imposed on South Korea and Israel would be in place for at least fourteen days with an exception on humanitarian cases
According to ghbase, the reason for the travel restriction was not revealed but for Malta, the Ministry says the ban is as a result of the Omicron virus saying the government of Ghana does not recognize any vaccine certificate from Malta.
The timeline on when the restriction will be eased in Malta was not given either
