Emmerdale has hinted at potential danger for Belle Dingle as her mental health continued to deteriorate in tonight’s episode.
Since her split from Jamie Tate, Belle has been haunted by the voice of her dead mother Lisa Dingle.
Her behaviour is already concerning those around her, but tonight’s scenes (November 16) saw her condition worsen even further, setting up a potentially life-threatening scenario for her or someone else.
In addition to hearing Lisa’s voice, Belle has now started seeing hallucinations of Jamie, making it hard for her to tell what is and isn’t real.
This is paving the way for tomorrow’s scenes, which will see Belle facing a new danger as she heads into the woods with a knife, believing that someone is chasing her.
As Belle continues to be terrorised by hallucinations of Jamie, tomorrow’s episode will see Lydia left alarmed when she realises that Belle has disappeared from the Dingle house, where preparations are underway for the reveal party for the sex of Tracy Metcalfe’s baby.
However, with the weapon still in Belle’s hand, and the voice of Lisa commanding Belle to protect her family, a dangerous situation soon arises. Will someone end up getting hurt?
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
