The National Identification Authority (NIA) has postponed its mass Ghana Cards distribution throughout the 16 regions of the nation.
This comes after the NIA last week introduced that it’s going to from Monday, June 8, 2020, distributed over three million printed Ghana cards to candidates throughout the 16 regions of Ghana.
This was introduced in a press release signed by the Head of Corporate Affairs, ACI Francis Palmdetti.
It stated the choice to postpone the exercise was to allow the outfit to accumulate satisfactory Private Protecting Tools within the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.
Nonetheless, the distribution is anticipated to begin on Wednesday, June 10, 2020.
The distribution of the playing cards has developed into crucial following the Electoral Commission’s resolution to make it an appropriate document for the compilation of a brand new Voters Register.
