Ghana Election 2020: Mr. James Oppong Boanuh, Inspector General of Police says no political security agent will be accepted or acknowledged at polling stations on Monday, 7th December 2020.

The IGP said the constituted security services have mandated and discharged official security agents to provide security at all polling stations across the country and there’s no need for a party or external security for the elections.

According to the IGP, the only people who will be recognized at polling stations are voters, EC officials, and official party agents.

After voting, we expect electorates will leave the polling station. Don’t come to the polling station and block security officials..”

He assured Ghanaians that, the Ghana Security Services will instill peace, before, during, and after the elections.

Ghana walks to the polls on Monday 7th December 2020 to vote to elect their next president and parliamentarians for the next four democratic years of the country.
